Meet Bridget...

I am a proud Chicago native who has a passion for helping families! After graduating from Illinois State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I completed a year long internship at a Crisis Nursery providing care and therapy for children six weeks to six years old. It was there that I discovered my love for the six and under crowd.

I proceeded to work as a full time nanny for six years. During that time, I was able to see an extreme difference in children who had great sleep habits vs. those who were chronically tired. The good sleepers were consistently more patient, had longer attention spans, met developmental milestones sooner, and generally had happier dispositions. That is when I began to research children's sleep habits and ways to improve them.

The information I found was overwhelming! From rocking baby to sleep to letting them cry it out and everything in between, how was I supposed to know what is "right"? Some articles online even seemed to give crazy advice: let your baby listen to the hair dryer while falling asleep, pat his bottom for 5 minutes then stoke his left thigh for 3 minutes and he's sure to go to sleep, pack baby girl up in your car and drive around endlessly every night so she gets some sleep. It was then that I decided to make it my mission to help the sleepless families of the world.

I enrolled in the Family Sleep Institute's Child Sleep Consulting Program and never looked back! Now as a Certified Child Sleep Consultant, I am able to provide your family with some exhaustion relief. From providing you with valid information to tailoring a sleep plan specific to your family's needs, I will be there with you every step of the way.
